    Himalayan Bird

    Recently i have started bird photography after receiving my Nikkor 55-300mm AFS VR lens.Here in Darjeeling some rare species of birds are found.This one is Rufus Sibia.C&C are welcome.Himalayan Bird

    That's not bad at all pinakibaidya, considering the awful lighting.

    If you can avoid shooting against the sky, the results can be even better.

    Nice shot, pinakibaidya. I looked at the exif for this image and wonder why you have the ISO and EV so high? (1250 & +3.00)

    That is a cool bird. I would keep experimenting to tame the sky. that is if you have more opportunity to shoot him

    A cool looking bird and you have caught him sharp. I agree with the comments above about the sky. Also, if possible try and catch him a little closer to the ground. This way we look at him rather than up to him. I know that is not always possible as some birds rarely come down at all.
