Winter evening on Rhodes

Hi, The place is Pefki on the island of Rhodes a very popular place with summer visitors from the UK
In November everyone has gone home.

I'm not so sure that the composition in the first one hits the mark. But, oh, that second one.

Not only is the lighting, exposure etc., different, but that change of position with the foreground rock less dominant and the edge of the rock making for, what I would describe as, a 'softer' line running more horizontally instead of slashing much more of a diagonal across the image (as, I would suggest, in the first one), makes for a much stronger image ... in my opinion.

And then that long-exposed sky just works a treat.

Yep, that 2nd one really rocks! Great composition, shutter speed, and colors.
