Vote for the version you thing best --Please C&C

We attended my husband's godmother's 95th birthday party last week. None of her sons stayed around for the opening of presents. So, my husband, as godson, sat by her side and helped her. I was on the other side of the room and took a picture of them holding hands. It was pretty horrible, but my husband wants to send her a copy.

I played and played AND PLAYED. They are all pretty sappy:

Since no one in my household could tell the difference between the three --could members here please weight in --which one would embarrass you the least . .

Version a) Vote for the version you thing best --Please C&C

Version b) Vote for the version you thing best --Please C&C

Version c) Vote for the version you thing best --Please C&C

    Thank you very much

I prefer the tones and colour range of the first one but the hands seem softer and less patch in the second photo.

Such a great idea! I like Version B the best.

Paul, thanks, that's my favorite too! (if there could be a favorite).

Mike, thank you. It was the only way I could think of to salvage the picture and put my name on it. My son preferred B as well--something about the contrast. I'm wondering if the 95 yo would be able to see it better because of the contrast.

    Thanks for your input!

I rather like the slightly more subtle version C.

I do wonder about the typeface for the caption though. It looks a bit like a tombstone effect to me rather than a birthday celebration.

Thanks Geoff -you are probably right. I was trying to find something I thought the godmother could read easily. I'm not terribly excited about this whole composition, so I probably didn't try as hard as I should have.

    I appreciate your thoughts.
