Another Focus Stack
Nikon D80 50mm f1.4 + 13mm extension tube 1/13sec f4 ISO 100.
108 jpgs stacked with Zerene stacker - 5 minutes to shoot + 30 mins to process.
I would like to use tiff files but I can't find a suitable RAW or DNG to tiff converter.
This is my best attempt so far, I feel.
There is a tutorial at "Control My Nikon" that covers focus stacking

tutorial here;

they used 35 shots for a flower
Thank you to all the people who commented in the previous post.
Comments welcome, Stephen.

Re: Another Focus Stack
Stephen, I like this one too. I'm still boggled at the idea of turning the focus ring manually 100+ times! I've been playing with some image stacking recently too. I've searched all over the internet looking for pros, cons, and otherwise to shooting wide open as you have, compared to shooting in the f8-f16 range like I have been.
I can't find anything definitive, but I'm going to try one with your technique on the weekend and see how it goes. Thanks again for sharing these, you've done a great job!

Re: Another Focus Stack
Bobo and Andrew thanks for your comments.
This next image took only half the time as there were only 26 images at f8
