    For me, focus, exposure and overall composition are fine; but I just can't get excited about the subject.

    It's true. Not much to add to that - I think you've done a great job technically, but artistically, it's a little slim. Maybe a closeup of one of the derelict features of the building, instead of the whole building? I don't really know.

    I agree--it seems fine technically, and you have a nice tonal range, but the subject is not very appealing. I'd also suggest you play around with different ways of framing. You have the building centered, which is often not the best thing to do, and both the background and foreground around the building aren't very engaging.

    But on the other hand; if this was a photo taken prior to restoration of the building, it would be perfect.
