Waterscapes - If your feet aren't wet, you are not close enough

I love getting up close & personal with water and trying to capture its shape & movement.
These are from a couple of camping trips last month to Murray Falls and Broadwater Creek in North Queensland

First ones on an EPL1 with the Oly 9-18mm lens

Matt - I'm not looking at these on my own monitor, so am not going to get into detail about the images. But, in terms of the concept and what it offers in terms of line and shape (and I'm thinking about the first two in particular), these look exciting and wonderful. I'm not a big fan of slow shutter speeds that create fluffy water, but where we see definition and structure in the water, then what your doing here really makes an impact.

A very nice series of images that are very pleasing to look at. They have vibrant colors, clarity, and DOF.

Matt, these are very interesting images. I particularly like the fifth one. Seeing the rocks in the bottom of the stream, followed by silky water and then clear water flowing into the distance is very nice. I also like the way the water takes the eye through the photo.

#5 makes me dizzy. As if I am kayaking in the river.

    Nice!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Glad you like them. Heaps of fun and pretty easy to shoot. Main advice is to always keep one hand on your camera to avoid any unfortunate incidents and wear water/surf shoes with good grip
    What could possibly go wrong...
