Jeff is it possible to post a bad image, that is just to make me feel better, as all that you post are breathtaking.

    Cheers:

Yes he has - all those that precede the latest.

Great scene and well shot as usual.

Jeff, I find it hard to come up with any suggestions to improve this. I like its contrast. Saturation is not exaggerated (which I'm guilty of sometimes as I try to give the image some punch), and it's a nice composition.

It's hard to see at the resolution you have posted, but how sharp do the leaves look? It's not something I have experimented with, but if they could be sharper, then I wonder if a smaller aperture and higher ISO might bring them out?

Thanks for the feedback - I was at the smallest aperture I could get away with here for the D800 (f11) & ISO 50.

Beautiful image Jeff, well done, the only thing id do with it is to clone out the man made stuff at the top of the mountain (is it man made? looks like a mast)

This is an absolutely superb image. Great composition. Interesting colors. Three layers. One of the few photos, which are inherently two-dimensional, that looks three-dimensional.
