Jaén Cathedral
Hello:
Interior of the Cathedral of Jaen. The architect was Andres De Vandelvira. Vandelvira was "Picasso" in spanish Renaissance art.
Thanks.

Re: Jaén Cathedral
I like the viewpoint and the way that the dome stands apart from the rest of the ceiling.

Re: Jaén Cathedral
This is a great shot. It really makes you feel tiny in comparison to the ceilings and pillars. It seems a little off center for me, I wonder if maybe a slight centering crop would help. The pillar lights are a bit distracting, but they are unavoidable (if you have PSCS5, you can remove them almost completely). What a beautiful and humbling place, though. It must have been amazing to be there.

Re: Jaén Cathedral
Thank you very much.
The different shades of light on the complicated building the correct exposure. I still do not use photoshop. I use a free software, xnview, and get contrast etc. automatically. I still do not process the images. jpg from camera. Someday will process it.
best regards.

Re: Jaén Cathedral
Great pic - thanks!
You did well to get the exposure right - metering in these situations is difficult.

I like the shot also. I take it the flash I'm seeing at the botton right and on the column to left is from you using a flash also have to ask did you mean for the photo to look that warm. Over all good job in a tough place to shoot

Re: Jaén Cathedral
I don't think those are flash reflections, I think they are lights. A flash would ruin this shot if used, so I commend the photographer on the exposure.
