Hi Barry, Glad she gave you that moment of cooperation... such stunning eyes. I can't imagine Grandad finds it easy to say "no" to those eyes
Love this as a classic portrait of a gorgeous little girl!
Though I think I'd be tempted to also keep another with a less classic feel and tighten the crop up to really highlight her eyes, perhaps at mid-forehead and off the left frame down her cheek.

I agree with Trace that you should have cropped a little harder, both right side and top. I can see you have wanted to keep that lovely sweep of hair in the picture, but it unbalances the rest.

I'm also not too keen on the lighting. This is very masculine lighting; a child, particularly a fair haired, blue eyed girl, would benefit from being lit a great deal more softly methinks.
