Beautifully sharp image with absolutely lovely color and depth. Did you notice that beautiful girl standing at the window of that house yellow across the river? I think she was in her undies but, she vanished as I was looking at her

Which yellow house and which window, Richard? After 20 minutes of looking, I gave up trying to find her.

Mike, it's the yellow house upper center. She must have went to answer the door because she is back now with a couple friends.

Nice image, where were you on a hill or a tall building?

Very good image. Technically very good as Richard said and very pleasing to the eye. It brings back memories of a short visit we had there a few years ago.

A great picture and humor to go along with it.

    Hello Paul,

I took this picture by resting the camera on a ledge in front of Heidelberg Castle on top of the hill overlooking the town and used the built in timer while holding the camera. Canon Rebel XTi with EF-S IS 17-55 mm USM lens (I rented to try before buy). Setting of F/ 2.8 with 1/3 EV, ISO 100 and shutter speed of 1/1250 sec. Made some minor adjustments using Lightroom 3.

Really nice image of the town. It looks like it could have been successfully taken as a 2:1 ratio panorama.

Can't quite make it out. Does the label on the undies really say "Wash only in warm water."? I may need to get new glasses!

No, it says, "Do not put in the fireplace." Honest to goodness, a label on some children's clothes that I bought said that.

With a D800, you'd be able to see if she's waxed or not
