Bloody good! well done!!
Great capture! I'd love to see this larger!
Toby,
Please give us some more pixels- great shot, and I was hoping for a much closer look!
Out-STANDING!!
Congratulations!
Brilliant timing and focus Tobias
Bet getting that made you a happy bunny
Well done,
Thank you everyone
Dave it sure did, very happy even
Here is a higher res version.

I second the ditto! Still can't see it larger. Looks to be a very nice capture though.
Hmmm not sure what I'm doing wrong then because the second should be larger.
Not entirely sure what you did either but when I clicked through on the "Large" link I did indeed see it larger at Flickr. Wonderful image... amazing timing and good sharpness, yet the motion is so evident too! It may be this monitor I'm presently using, but just a little more dodging on the mum's head would give a hint more detail without distracting from the youngster's expression.
Haha well at least now its up thank you. I will look into the dodging
Here are a couple more from the same, not quite as amazingly timed but still pretty interesting.

Hi Tobias, all of these are great! I had a play at cloning out the second juvenile in the first image as it was mostly hidden behind the foreground chick. If you would like, I can post it for you?
Great action shots captured Tobias. Well done.
Dave
Tobias, lovely images of a great opportunity! But I do notice that your camera is capable of up to 8 fps continous shooting. Perhaps in these circumstances you could try that? Also, it appears that you've lost a bit of colour? I can't see the Exif so don't know at what time of day these shots were taken. but I stole and modified your images and put the results HERE . Do you approve or have I got it wrong? If so, my apologies.
Sorry Tony but for me your edits are way to saturated and overly warm.
Hi Tony, I have to agree with Terri and Paul, your edits look way to unrealistic and over-saturated. It was about 1 in the afternoon so the light was extremely harsh but I had to deal with it. I did use the 8fps capability, these are just the best of the lot, most of them have blurry birds because the continuous focusing capability is rather limited when it comes to following speeding birds that just appear out of nowhere.
I am even more impressed now I have seem the big, high res ones and others in the series.
Very well done,
