Thanks Carl. Some I knew about, some I didn't. One has to be careful with reducing Luminance in a sky or the effect can be rather odd looking. Must try reducing Sharpness in the adjustment brush - just what I needed last night. There are some other interesting effects too. Can't wait to try some.

    Your welcome Glenn,
I have been playing around with all of the different settings in the adjustment brush section lately and I am amazed at what can be done.
I am finding out through trial and error about using too much of one thing or another.
I have started pulling up the side by side view of the original and my PP image to do the final tweaking and it seems to help prevent me from going way overboard on PP for now anyway.

Frank yes I have but at the time they did not have that much for LR4. I do plan on signing up for a month or so soon now that they have had some time to get more together.
Until then I pick up what I can on you tube and other places and this is one I found helpful. Plus it never huts to get a refresher on some functions as I tend to forget things visited only once. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry if I sound like a broken record if you have seen my posts regarding this (i've done about 5, I think) but I really highly endorse George Jardine's video tutorials for LR- the best I have seen for taking the viewer meticulously through each element of the develop module, explaining both how and why.

    Thanks Kevin,
I have seen the other post and even looked into it some. Still rolling things around in my head. I have read the reviews on the video's. The price of both the library and develop module (on line) would cost the same as two months of Kelby. Well I still have some time to make up my mind by Nov 1st. Thanks again for the tip.
