Night rider

Had to go down to Melbourne to pick up someone the other night. And while I was waiting for their bus to get in I took these. My first attempt at night time shooting. Of the many I took these two are the only ones which seemed to give a positive outcome ( I think.)

Well, you have set it up for the viewer to grab a bike and go looking for the beans. The colors and lights invite the area to be explored, really sharp images that bring you in.

Very positive outcome I think Ken. I like the way the coloured light is reflecting off the bike wheel rims and I like the curves in the tram shot. Both images nice and sharp too.

I like them both as 'night-time in the city' type shots. They each tell us something about the place in a way that the grand cityscape could not. That idea of getting in closer to the detail is something many of us miss.
