D7000 with Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G AF Test Charts

I purchased that prime couple of years ago and used to use it with my old D60 I no longer have.
The very first time I attached it to D7000 I noticed some softness I haven’t noticed before.
Then I red some articles about D7000 back/front focus issues and since I don’t know what to do,
today I shot a new set of test charts, which I’m offering to your attention.
The charts were shot from a tripod with a remote set to MUP at approximately 60cm (2 feet ) distance from ABOUT 45 degree angle.
The only difference is that in the first shot AF fine tune is set to OFF, the value for the second one is ”-4”, and for the third one “-8”.
Aperture priority, wide open at f/1.4
    Metering – Matrix
    ISO – 100
    AF – on
    Single (central) AF point
    So, what’s the verdict?

Aren't most 50mm f/1.4 lenses a bit soft when fully open, due to spherical aberration? See how it performs at f/4.
