Great images Jeff. I particularly like the second one as zoomed in you have, for me, better light in the image. The tranquillity of the morning is obvious and I for one would love to live there or at least have a trip in one of the balloons to enjoy the sights from a different perspective. Two small points - I would clone out the bird (?) to the right of the balloons in #2 and it may be my monitor but it looks like #2 has a bit of lens flare below the horizon on the left, at least I can see a circular element to the mist. These are just being picky![]()
Beautiful images that convey serenity very well. I just love the use of the foreground tree in the first one.
I agree with Kenny about the flare in the second one. I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you eliminate the balloon in the first one; it's so small that it's actually a distraction in an otherwise very nice image. At least when presenting the first one alongside the second one, consider adding just a tad bit of warmth to it. When presenting them together, the extreme warmth of the second one makes the first one appear cold in comparison.
What beautiful shots Jeff.
You have handled the mist exquisitely.
Wonderful sots well done, you live in a lovely part of the world. colour , light, mist all handled well, a couple of wall hangers, i think.
The second version is exactly what I had in mind. Tastefully done, not overdone.
Jeff,
Only YOU get to look DOWN on hot air balloons from their backyard
