    A view from the dirt

Just playing around the other day with some more fungi. I plucked these out of the yard about a week ago and set them on the bench to dry. I am intriged by the texture and form of them as they dry out, much more so than the straight lines when they are fresh. I think the stems coming towards me and blurry is a distraction, maybe it is just me? C&C always welcome and anticipated.

Nice!! I really like the perspective! Very creative. I, personally would have gone with a little more depth of field, but that's just me. I really, really like these shots - I'm going to try something similar now! Thanks!

Thanks for your comments Andrew. I will give it another shot this evening with a little more DOF. They are sitting on their tops on a black blanket on my bench (as long as the dogs have not eaten them) so I can do again and again..
