Yes it works well. Occasionally, with the right subject, a cloudy sky can work better than plain blue.

The clouds are superb. The rocks and soil appear to be oversharpened. I notice a small glow around the red rocks too which may be from too much tone or sharpness adjustments. My two cents worth...

Excellent! I posted a storm cloud from Arches a few days ago. It was suggested I use a a little sharpening in PP, so I have to ask, what do you use for such clarity!!??

My workflow consists of Nik's Define to delete noise, Topaz Infocus to bring out clarity. Then I usually use Nik's Viveza and Colro Efex Pro 4; I also use Topaz Adjust and other Nik and Topaz products that I think will help with what I'm going for. Sometimes it takes me a while to figure out what the photo needs. Hope this helps.

Thank you Don. I will look into Nik as someone else mentioned it also for sharpness.
At Alb Balloon Fiesta, wish me luck.
