    I'm Watching You...American Alligator

Recently my wife and I were photographing birds at Merrit Island National Wildlife Reserve. While walking on a trail on top of a dike an alligator was following and watching us as we slowly moved about. Posted below is that alligator, lurking with only it's eyes and nostrils above water. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Just waiting for you to fall in no doubt. Was it lunch time by any chance?

Smiles... yes indeed Helen. That is the feeling that was perceived, I think it thought old and slow... easy pickings.

Maybe it just wanted to be friendly!

Good image. Nice and simple it terms of content. Uncluttered. I like it.

I really like this. I think it is a very clean and simple image. And somewhat unnerving at the same time!

Hello Tommy, thank you for viewing and commenting. Unnerving... then my image portrays my feelings as this alligator followed us as we walked along the trail. Very curious as to what we were doing.

Thank you Terri, I appreciate you viewing and commenting. It was late morning with the sun high so the light carried into the water showing more than just it's eyes and nostrils.
