    just a tip, I don't know if the old woman add the something very important for the image. have you tried a version without the woman? how it works?

    Fernando,

    Personally I much prefer including the lady. Her presence creates a number of questions to muse about: is she related to the boy, is she watching him or the surf, does she wish they had those boards when she was young, or is she about to tell him to get the darn thing off the beach so civilized folks could have some peace? The boy is clearly in his element, but is she in hers- the hat and coat might suggest otherwise. I think she adds a lot of interest.

    I like this photo very much, very nice composition, and I would keep the woman in the picture, makes the photo much more interesting......
