    Icelandic Sea Stack

The weather was just inclement enough to produce some nice scenery but not so inclement that it couldn't be enjoyed. The image just begged to be made in B&W from the get go; I didn't even save the color version.

A very moody shot Mike. I particularly like the way both the foreground and background add such atmosphere to the image. Might be my monitor but the stack itself is a little grainy but otherwise a very enjoyable image.

    Thanks, Radu!.

It's not your monitor, Kenny. I pushed the limits in the sea stack to bring out the detail. I don't object to the grain in it but maybe I should add the effect of film grain to the entire image to add some balance. I'll think about it.
