    Macro mystery series

    Here's an idea for a bit of fun;

    1) We start with a close up view (cropped/zoomed) of some kind of everyday object
    2) Members try to guess what it is
    3) If no-one guesses in say, a couple of days, a somewhat less cropped/zoomed version is posted
    4) Guess again
    5) Repeat 3) and 4) as necessary
    6) When someone gets it right, they get to post the next picture and the whole thing repeats from 1)

    The beauty of it is, you don't need a macro lens, etc., a smallish crop off almost any picture should do, it doesn't have to be microscopic to be usable.

    If you win, but really don't have a picture to submit for the next round, just ask for a donation, I'm sure one will be forthcoming ...

    Rob is going to start us off shortly ...

    This might be tricky to guess. I will give a clue. It's an unusual design of something quite common.

    I just know that someone will get it straight away.

    Bugger! Or 'darn it' as you would say over there.

    Over to you for the next one. And well done - I thought that was quite hard.

    OK. As I was so easy on you last time, and no one is going to post an image I will go again. This one is more difficult. Famous last words.

    BTW - If you post an image here make sure the name of the object isn't part of the file-name!
