    Lizards

First lizard (1), cool looking dude. Started off brown and the longer I stayed around taking pics, the bluer he became. Caught him beginning to inflate his pouch, got be over twice this size. (Original pic was vertical, side onto a tree, and I was looking slightly up at him).
Other fellow (2), I spent ages stalking his colleagues to no avail. He was so happy to be in the spotlight, posing for me to the left, to the right, head straight on - now pose and hold .... flash!

    Re: Lizards

    great capture Graham!
    I like them!
just a couple thoughts if you don't mind.
both seems a bit dark in my monitor (don't know if your or my brightness level is correct), perhaps for #1 I see better a 3.2 ratio cropping the bottom dark area, at last I don't know if a wider Dof in #2 can improve or not...
    thanks for sharing
    cheers

Excellent shot in #1. Yes, part of that bottom should go as well as a bit of lightening up as suggested by Nicola.

    #2 why b/w ?

    Re: Lizards

Haven't checked my monitor in a couple of months. Seems I need to.
I was also working in a room darker than normal last night, probably why they look different in the daytime today.

    Thanks all for the comments.

    Re: Lizards

    Hi Graham,
I'm sitting here viewing in a darker than normal room and they both look fine to me, so perhaps that is the reason.
Anyhow, based on what I can see I like them both. It would be worth; as already stated, trying a crop No.1 to remove some of the bottom.
    Over-all very nice.

Corrected, cropped and lightened (just a tad).
