Dying Iris
Hi All,
Thanks for viewing, any C&C welcome.
Should I have used a different crop? Should I have used a different exposure?
Does the picture depict a specific mood?

Re: Dying Iris
Andre, the exposure seems fine to me. Maybe it could be a bit brighter. The image has a clarity and yet softness to it.
Does it depict a specific mood? I'm not very good at this, but if anything to me it depicts endurance, persistence, of not giving up just yet.

Re: Dying Iris
I feel it is not fresh enough to show it's natural beauty.. and not dead enough to explore that side of it's cycle.
Leave it and revisit in a bit when it starts to dry up.

Re: Dying Iris
Hi Serge,
You have said what the picture depicts, persistence in not giving up its beauty yet. Thanks Serge.
Sharon,
These flowers have a life span of less than 24 hours. They do not dry out on the stem, they fall off and all the beauty is lost. Here is a photo of a fresh one, just for you.
Thanks for the input, it is appreciated.
