    Side view of Table mountain

This is a view from the Steenberg mountains of the southern suburbs with the side view of Table Mountain in the background. In the foreground the unique Cape Fynbos vegetation can be seen in the winter colours of early morning.

Lovely image, Lennon. The light on it is glorious.

There is something sticking up from the top of the hill on the left - is it an aerial? It just catches my eye. I wonder if it does the same for others and if it would be worth cloning it out. But, that small point aside, I think it's a beauty.

    Hi Lennon

Thanks a lot for sharing this picture. At the moment I'm reading The Covenant. In case you are not familiar with the book it is a novel based on the history of South Africa. Since I've never been there I had no idea how Table Mountain was in real life. It is very beautiful

Re the image itself, I wonder how did you get those shades of color? Is it a combination of several images with different exposures? Or you just adjusted the tone curves of a single picture?

Beautiful rich colors. The mist/fog on the right adds an otherworldly feel to it.

As much as I agree with everyone about the gorgeous colors, they seem to be a bit overly saturated to my eye. Perhaps it's simply explained by my difference in taste.

Those are the natural colours no adjustments were made. This is the side of table mountain, not the normal front view that is more often seen. The mountain range starting from the left are, Elephants Eye, Table Mountain and Devil's Peak
