I find it interesting and I like the tonal range. The composition is a bit unusual - would expect a landscape presentation. The gradation in the sky nice but I think the composition would be better if most of the sky (or sand) was cropped making the figures less central and more dominant. Maybe I am just being a traditionalist but I would not have commented if it had not grab my interest.
