I really like the color version. What makes the picnic final?

    Mike and John..thank you both.

We had 3 whole days of picnic weather here in Scotland this year...and already there is a wintery feel in the air and the rain is chilling rather than refreshing.

It has been a very short season and not near enough time spent outdoors with friends, wine and laughter.

    hence.....

Ahhhhhhhhhh. That makes sense, Sharon. It's a good thing that the friends, wine and laughter also work well indoors.

That's a lovely way of describing the **** summer that we've had this year!

I know I'm probably a bit stupid, but what does 'Emo version' mean, .... 'cause I like it?

Wonderful work on the first image.

I also don't know what emo means and forgot to ask. Maybe we need to send the shorthand police after Sharon.

Don't think Jimmy Shand did that. If Jimmy Shand didn't do it, then it's not worth doing.

Mind you, don't think there ever really was much in the way of hardcore punk in Auchtermuchty.

A hard punk rock movement born in Washington, DC, where I have lived for 40 years? Ya gotta be kidding.

Hello Sharon, nice pics, a title that makes one think endeed! That's what I like about your style and that is why I am always looking forward to your next artistic creation. It made me think, look up info on the net, assess my answer and gave me ideas for my next flower shoot. I think that is a good defenition of what "Art" is. I like the play of colours and lines in #1, and the intrigue quality of #2. The border in #2 gives definition and strenght to the composition. Well done!
