Really needs to be seen in full size view to be appreciated. Beautifully balanced composition, technically experly done on multiple levels. Congrats, Steve

I agree with all of the above comments.

I have just one observation about the lack of sharpness in one area of the image that is perplexing. Is it my imagination or is it really true that the grass around the pond and the three trees to the left of the pound are out of focus even though everything in front and behind them are very sharp? Is it possible that the wind was blowing fast enough that your shutter speed didn't stop the action in those areas?

Thanks everyone, i appreciate the comments.

I see what your saying , mike, but i don't have an answer. I did shoot this at 1/50s shutter speed.(prob. should have upped it to about 1/200 with the moving cows) For some reason, it does look a little soft in the areas you mentiioned, but looks a little sharper on the full size image. At any rate, it's too late to make any changes now, but will log that one away for the future.
