    You have nicely captured both the plant and damselfly there, Rollin.

    Looks very similar to the UK Azure Damselfly (Coenagrion puella).

    I agree. I particularly like the blurred background as it sets off the subject well. Great sharpness on the damselfly and plant.

    Thank you Geoff and Trevor. My knowledge of Dragonflies and Damselflies is limited to a book covering the Southwestern US. The number of species of the Odonata world wide is staggering, not to mention proper identification of so many similar sub-species, so this image may very well be one of the many other Pond Damsels.
