    Hairy behind

This was my first attempt at macro on an ant. I didn't realize that they had a hairy back section. C&C welcome

This one was on it's way to a waxing session.

Really cool first attempt...what did you use?

Thanks Sharon, still using my Canon powershot sx30is. Not in the budget to upgrade to a dslr yet due to those damn kids and college bills. Oh well some day.

I just was playing with the macro setting on the powershot. Not the best of quality but everybody has to start somewhere.

I am so not a bug person. This guy looks like something out of a Robert Heinlein novel. It's a great picture, even the hairy behind.

    Thanks for sharing, I think

That is one cool shot, I like the mono version quite a bit.
