    Starving Puppy Has Been Adopted

A lot of my friends on the forum have been following the story of Felicia, the "Starving Pup" I first posted right after we received her from the shelter, skin and bones and weak...

    Starving Puppy Has Been Adopted

Well, Felicia is now completely healthy, has doubled her weight and has found a new "furever" home. Her new family includes a mom and dad who love her, two human sisters, 9 and 7, and one human brother, 11-years old, and a big gentle and lovable Labrador Retriever.

Here is Felicia with her new mom and with one of her new siblings. The three kids are excited about Felicia and are ready to give her all the love she needs. They love playing with her and she is doting on their attention.

    Starving Puppy Has Been Adopted

I love all of my foster dogs but, some are harder to part with than others. They are usually the ones like Felicia who have needed lots of extra care and who have been with us the longest. But, when I saw how happy she was playing with her new family, it makes it all worthwhile...

Congratulations, Richard on doing a very good work with these wonderful creatures. You've touched a lot of lives by what you do. Thank you for being an encouragement to me.

Richard, it is so wonderful what you do with these foster "kids". It must be really tough to let them go but the looks on the new owner's faces tell how happy Felicia will be. Thanks for sharing!
