    Beautiful colours in the butterfly. I wonder if the deer is pregnant, old or had a hard winter. She's pretty ribby, isn't she? You've caught a wonderful pose, though. Very alert.

    Wish I had your knack for capturing these shots. I see deer a lot, but I am usually driving and they are either jumping across the road or standing in someone's front yard

    The butterfly is a beauty, Steve. Really nice shot

    The deer... ...I can't get my head around it... ...It almost looks super-imposed onto the background! All I can say is impressive control of DoF! The only thing I don't like about it, is the fact that the deer and the background are both sloping quite dramatically down to the right. It looks as though it is about to fall over any second. I think if it was walking up the hill, rather than down it, then it wouldn't matter so much, but as it is it just doesn't quite work for me. Sorry.
