    a dip in the jungle

My wife and I were trekking through the jungle and we came across this area for a much needed respite. Any comments and especially critiques would be most welcome. Still learning to see with my "eyes".

    Hi, Steven

Looks like a great place to visit. I like your foreground and your placement of the falls very much. I think you could bring out the significance of the falls by cropping a moderate amount of the background foliage to about the height of the large bush just above the falls, and just a little off the lower edge of the foreground. I'd also like to see another version with the saturation and contrast slightly reduced, and a little lifting of the shadows. The stream does a great job of pulling the eye along to the falls.
