Last but not least....the bulls!

The action was intense with these guys. It is amazing how high these guys get off the ground. I was positioned infront of the gate were the bulls were lead out of the areana, so the image below of the bull that looks very unhappy with me.....he was! I shot him further out and he seemed to be upset with everyone else but as he got within 15 feet of me and saw my lens he lowered his head and took a few quick steps. After I pulled the trigger I fell back on my butt trying to save myself. He did not even hit the gate I was behind, but that did not matter as I watched him through the lens.....as I fell back a snapped one more.....it didn't fire as it was inside my six feet min. focussing distance.

The first one is my favorite of this batch. The last one would have been my favorite if the guy in the background hadn't been there. How rude of him to ignore that he got in the way of your image.

Nicola, thank you. I have thought about it and may still....however I try not to do much in the way of cloning. I suppose being he is not a fence or another permanant structure I feel a little more ok with it but I try not to remove that which is in the origonal image if it not something I can crop. Maybe I should relax that standard some, but I don't want it to become to easy for me to do.

Great shots of what is my least favourite rodeo event. I always barrack for the bulls and cheer when they dislodge their rider, out of empathy for what is done to the bulls to make them buck. But, great work Jeepers
