More From The Day Before Yesterday...Reddish Egret

I posted a few of this species of bird a couple of months past. At the time I wrote about how entertaining it was to watch and photograph racing around the salt flats in search of prey. While racing to stir up prey, upon seeing it, the wings are then raised making a shaded area. The small fish thinking the shade is a safe place swim into the darkened area. Then with a stab of it beak the heron snags the fish. Quickly eats it all to begin the chase again. These images show some of the chase. C&C welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Excellent set there, Joe. Particularly the 'walking on water' shots.
