Meadow Pipit
Hi Folks,

Very nice. How about a crop to remove that bit of out of focus plant at the lower left corner?

Hi Pat, I think whatever you did in pp works fine. Nice detail and color in the bird. I agree with Mary that a tighter crop eliminating the out of focus plant would work better.

A crop to remove a substantial part of the bottom, with a corresponding amount from the right side would work OK; but it also loses a bit of 'atmosphere' and becomes more of a textbook identification photo.
A case of try it then decide I suspect.
Otherwise, everything looks fine to me in the processing department.

Thank you Mary, Joe and Geoff for your comments. I think the new pp workflow seems to work fine, will look at a crop to remove the out of focus plant and still hold the 'atmosphere' in the photograph.

Workflow looks good, pat. Slightly dark eye, you may want to dodge it a bit.
