    Big Bluestem, Part 2

Big bluestem is one of the dominant grasses in the tallgrass prairie, currently it is approaching 6'. Early settlers trekking West referred to the tallgrass as a "sea of grass", their wagons were prairie schooners

    Hi, Randy

Interesting plant, funny little thing even if it's 6 feet tall. The stem to the right side of it appears to be a different plant. If it is, I might clone it out as it wouldnt be contributing to "the story" and doesnt have much aesthetic value. Come to think of it, I'd try a cloned out version regardless, as it just seems incongruous. Thanks for posting.
