    Lightning, rainbow, and sunset.

    We have had some active weather in central Texas for the last couple of days. Managed to get a few shots.

    And this evenings sunset after the storm. I tried this in HDR and don't like the way it came out. Have no idea how the HDR guys do it;

    Hi, Kris

    The lightning shot is really cool. I'm wondering whether you'd keep all the good stuff and lose the less interesting and noisy portion by converting this to a portrait perspective rather than a landscape. I think it would rend ther verticalilty of the lightning strike much more striking (pardon the pun)

    I did an edit to get rid of much of the right hand side of the original on the lightning shot. Let me know if this is a better edit.

    Hi, Kris

    To these eyes, a great improvement and a definite keeper. I wonder if a little more noise reduction and a smidge of color correction in the right lower corner is possible?
