Still pretty high on the Dif shot posted earlier and left everything else for later.

Have now done these other shots. I think these are the same species as the DIF guy but smaller in size.

Was quite satisfied with these shots and processed 2 versions, one warmer, one cooler.

This is the warmer version. Will post the cooler versions if there is demand for it.

    Thanks for viewing.

Constructive comment, good and bad, on composition, processing, crop etc is always deeply appreciated.

I see a little purple along with a little green...thought it might be. What great colors.

    Re: Dragon

Oh that? I did not really notice until you mentioned it. My colour sense is not all that great at times. My right eye got injured 2x in the past 2 years during racquet games and this has caused a fair bit of focal/perception changes.

It was a bright day with light reflecting off the pond and the reeds. I was surprised how well those 2 combined to make this great light. Got lucky I suppose.

Actually it was a record breaking hot day - temps not seen since 1958 or something.

Good for you, doing it again.
No 1 and No 3 seem a little too bright. No 2 is better for me.
    Great shots.

    Bobo,

#3 is the hands-down winner for me. Great work. Was that cropped at all or is that the original framing?

Congrats Bobo I see that from the post "Dif" you managed to go back and get dirty, nice work mate, it's always good to see a persistent person getting to his goals. Nicely done.

Great shots of an elusive subject Bobo, dragons do not stay still for long. Your new macro lens or another lens?
