This is the Victoria River in the Northern Territory. It was taken at dawn with the 100mm. I'm not sure that I have done this beautiful place justice. C&C welcome.

Wayne, this does look a wonderful place. There are two factors detracting from the beauty in this photo for me - it seems to lack clarity and the sky appears to overpower the scene. Assuming that it would be difficult to return when the sky is more favourable, I would want to attempt to tone down the sky and to bring out some more of the detail in the rest. E.g. A quick edit of your jpeg (hope you don't mind) -
As usual, these are just my opinions - others will no doubt view it differently.

Thanks Philip. I'm not sure how to put any colour into it as it was before sunrise, but I do see your point. I noticed it was a bit bland when I processed it. Thanks for the feedback.
