Re: Playing with Black and White.
The first one is an excellent BW conversion. It is a "must turn it in BW" I think.
The second is mute and boring. You could try with higher constrast with an S curve I think.

Re: Playing with Black and White.
Thanks Miltos.
Guess I still cannot decide what should be contrasty and what should not in b/w.
Will take your suggestion and see what comes up.

Re: Playing with Black and White.
The shape of the swan in the first is really lovely and the conversion is very good indeed!
Totally agree with Miltos about the second .

Re: Playing with Black and White.
Thanks Sharon.
I am working on #2 but probably way beyond my skill level to get it to where it should be. Aborting that and better to get a fresh shot and work on that instead.
No one have comments on #3 ??

Bobo...
2 and 3 don't work ...but the first one does. I would say that can give you a learning curve to work with.

Re: Playing with Black and White.
Thanks again Sharon, appreciate the comments.
3 is not bad in the colour version maybe it is the crop or something. Need to restudy that one.
