Shots like this are why I always have my camera with me. This character was sitting on the side of a major street in Detroit, playing with his pit bulls. There's a smorgasbord of details I like, and I'm pretty pleased with my PP results, but I'm interested in everyone's opinions of everything from the emotional content and subject to any weaknesses in my technique.
Canon EOS 60D, Canon 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS USM, f7.1 at ISO100, 1/60s and 216mm (effective) zoom. Used an ExpoDisc for white balance. Cropped, lightly saturated, and adjusted curves.

Lex, I love pictures of people with their pups, Very nice capture... I downloaded your photo and played with it a bit... what I did was give it a much tighter crop and lighten the tree's behind this gentleman and his pups...I will upload it so you can see....If this is a problem let me know and I will be glad to take it down...
