Looking towards the Gold Coast
10:30 Sunday night BORED, I drove out to the mother-in-laws to take some star trails. Actually I was frustrated as I was trying to photograph some constellations with a 50mm lens mounted on a telescope and all I got was trails, the telescope needed better polar alignment.
The Gold Coast is in the center and Kyogle (16km away) is on the left.
Canon 550D and Nikon 20mm f3.5 @f4 30secs ISO 3200
The power lines are a distraction.
I like the colour reflecting off the clouds, nice light pollution

Thanks Dave and Trina.
I'm working on removing the power lines but I keep making patterns in the noise that stick out a sore thumb.
