    The second one is much better for me, Frank. That's true at the small and larger sizes.

    Thanks Mike and Bobo. I was concerned that it was too dark for most folks, but for me, it captures the essence of the night in a situation where there are no prominent man made lights. However, if you look really close you'll see several lights on the horizon.

    Frank,

    I assume you have software that will make it really easy (2 or 3 seconds at the most) to get rid of the man-made lights.

    Oh yes. I try to keep the image as close to SOOC as I can unless there is something objectionable. In this case you almost need to pixel-peep to see the lights so for me they don't detract from the feeling of the image so I left them in.
