    PP manipulation

    Hi
I would like to put these 2 pic up for comment. They are shots before and after touch up with Paint Shop Pro. I thought as an old pub it had too much modern day stuff attached to it. I have tried to take it back in time. Comments please

The photo is defiantly much better without the cars etc in the photo. They kind of ruined the older look you were going for.

That is a lot of effort to remove that lot and you have done a good job. Given the amount of time spent on this I would have straightend the image a little. Even if the hotel was on a hill to start with I would be inclined (groan) to go for a flat horizon.

.... and if you're unsure judging by the horizon, make a fairly central upright edge actually vertical, like the nearest corner of the building

Don't cha just hate it when a smart alec states the blindingly obvious

Fear not Walshy, we've ALL been there

Thanks for the advise Dave and Wirefox. I have straightened the image and it looks a lot better. I still haven't realised the full potential of my editing program as yet. I am slowly working through the tutorial and learing heaps. Once again thanks.
