Hello Doug. A very nice capture.

I would like to see some more of the wooden building. A HDR shot would be interesting there or at least opening the shadows a bit.

The composition is nice but although the forest is beautiful on its own with wonderful colours I would prefer an anchor point in it to keep my eye.

Hi Doug. You have framed the composition beautifully but there is not a single object within the frame, with the possibility of the twin trees, that I would call a 'subject'.

This would be outstanding, I suspect, if you had a horse and rider just beyond the open door? ...and as Mitos points out, it would be great if you could see more of the detail in the shadows.

Frank, I think the door frame of the bar is the subject, which leads to the forest which then becomes the subject.

If it works for you Doug, that is all that really matters.
