    Playing around with new fuji hs20

    Hello to all.
    I bought a new fuji hs20 camera a couple of weeks ago. Must say that IQ at full size is somehow dissapointing.
    But anyway, I am uploading 3 images I took with this camera.

    2)

    3)

    Any comments (especially regarding composition) are welcomed.

    Hi Oleg,

    Welcome to the CiC forums from me.

    I have tidied your post a little and made the images inline and numbered them so people can see them and comment much easier.

    There's a step in the process you skipped that caused them to only be displayed as small thumbnails, have a look at post #4 in this thread;
    HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?

    On the pictures, at this size, they look fine and you got the horizons level, which always goes down well with me

    Does the HS20 shoot RAW?
    Were you looking at RAW images at 100% when you were dis-satisfied with the IQ?
    I also wonder what you are comparing it to?

    Cheers,

    Hi Dave,
    Well, my first digital camera was an olympus sp-350. bought it in 2006. even that old camera had less noise (funy, but it had a larger sensor)

    HS20 does shoot raw, but then the camera becomes slow, and i mostly shoot dogs and my children, so i have to stick with the JPEG
