    Interesting indeed.

    But does anyone else "roll their eyes" at the irony of it being developed to "build a better weapon"? Won't it be a great day when we read about something like this being developed in the context of a safety system that may stop vehicles travelling in fog to avoid a collision in the event of the vehicle in front slowing abruptly?

    Good point, but imagine the engineer trying to describe this invention to his superiors and why they should inverst in this technology.

    Vehicle on board guidance system: Safety, smooth driving, coming home safely.
    Vehicle on board stealth system: Surveilance, defence penetration, victory.
