    Sports and Documentary Photojournalism

I'm a freelance sports photographer seasonally but do a lot of travel documentary work on my free time, whenever possible. My camera goes with me pretty much 24/7 and my kids and husband have well accepted my camera as a third child.

Just to show you what I do, enjoy everyone:

    Sports and Documentary Photojournalism
I posted another picture from this badminton tournament I shot over the weekend in the July contest.

    Terrible, terrible lighting conditions ISO 3200 Canon 40D 1/350 sec @ f2.8

Amberglass, I hope you don't mind if I jump in here.

    The other pictures are here.

Actually no. Documentary photography is actually one aspect of photojournalism. A photographer who enjoys the challenges of capturing sensitive scenes and moments without changing them by the presence of a camera. But I also like capturing points of interests when it comes to the play of lighting in an artistic sense. You see this style of photography in National Geographic Traveller magazine and similar world travel books.

Peter, no I do not mind. Indoor sports photography is very challenging conditions to shoot under with the cycling of lights. One lens that I would recommend for you is the Canon 135 f2L, it's superb and my one of my all time favorite Canon primes for sports.
