Sharon, I really like the first one. It's like a dream.

    Regards.

With the first image, there is little difference in tone between the flower and background. But it works!

Possibly one of the cases where 'understatement' is actually it's strength.

Thanks Geoff. I have had to learn that holding back can sometime cause as much impact as going in strong and bold.

By instinct I like lots of strong colour and contrast and it has been an interesting journey.

Very nicely done...as usual. I really like the minimal tone difference in the first one. I think the third one is winking at me

In fact, I'm not so keen on that last one (personal taste, only), because it's not so subtle in style. It's more in-your-face demanding to be looked at. Can stand these pushy-types, y'know.

I sought to apply the 'Colin test ' to the first three; i.e. could I see people buying prints of this to hang on a wall. Despite a bit of an urge to push the first one slightly further to the left and to slightly tone down the very bright highlight on the bottom-most petal in the second one, the answer was an overwhelming 'yes'.

Notwithstanding my comment about that bottom highlight, I think the lighting on the second one is glorious. Just gorgeous.

I like them all, but especially the flirty one. (But then I'm a sucker for flirts, so maybe that explains it.) I might try cropping just a tad off the top of it to see how that looks, but I'm not sure it would be an improvement. It's excellent as is.

Yes, the last one is a brash hussy I agree...just liked the shapes.

I was expecting someone to seriously dislike the white vignette on 'Flirty' but that hasn't happened (yet ). I just loved the way the flower seemed to be winking!

Am so chuffed that the first two also passed the 'Colin Test' ...I enjoy taking the same flower and exploring both it's innocent and sexy traits.... I may be quite mad.

The first is my own pesonal favourite...though am not sure all that innocence reflects my own personality.Lol

Thank you Donald ( I will tone down that petal) and Arlen your comments are very much appreciated.
