A few from yesterday...birds and squirrel

My wife and I went for a walk with our cameras at a local park on a lake. These are a what I have post processed. C&C appreciated.

Boat Tailed Grackle...



Having your ducks all in a row, Mottled Duck & Ducklings...



Limpkin and Fledgling...Mom has a clam in her mouth...



Mom has opened the clam and given it to the chick...look closely at it's mouth

Nice series Joe, I did the same today and must say it is nice to see spring get here. I love the Grakle, what an interesting looking bird. I think you may have a green/yellow cast on the ducklings and squirrel. I also relly like the 3rd image, mom is very intent on teaching the youngin.

Thanks Paul...I understand about spring, actually only two months of what can be called winter in Florida...December and January. Tree that lost the leaves begin leafing out in February and the sun is getting warmer and higher in the sky. There is a green/yellow cast to the duck and ducklings. It was shot on a canal leading to the lake with overhanging trees that made a strong green/yellow reflection on the water...not the blue of a lake. I tried toning it down but the yellow color of the chicks was desaturating and I was too lazy to try to separate them from the background. Your viewing and comment is much appreciated.
